Droid eris skype mobile android 2.1 rooted file please!!

Can someone give me the file for skype mobile for the droid eris? I can't download it anywhere and I have android 2.1 rooted by the way. Thanks.

I happen to have this skype apk for verizon, I guess this is what you are looking for, let me know

is this working on any other network besides vzw, like tmobile for instance?

I wish! haha... I tried it on my Sprint Hero, upon trying to log in it says only Verizon phones blah blah.. don't remember some network excuse, someone with tech skills should look into it for a work around.

I'm sorry to hear that, I know it worked on my hero when i tried installing it,just it never "worked" in a sense of me trying to log in and not having a Verizon powered phone nor connection from them

i tried the skype apk on samsung moment 2.1 rooted. it installed and worked but not allowed to log in . i get a message telling me for "verizon phones". so if any one figures a way around this pleaase reply

did you change your settings to allow non market apps to install if not go to
menu > settings > applications and make sure the box on top is checked
