Hopefully this helps someone & it probably will not work for everyone.

I know that there are many different configurations out there. I had to hard reset my vogue about three weeks ago, not a big deal. As I have done this countless times. On this particular occasion it was taking extremely long for my GPS to lock. Last week I changed [HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL GPS]
\EnableAGPS = 1 setting. I changed it to a 0. Know I am getting super fast locks in under 30 secs. After my phone has been off or gone to suspend mode it usually lock in 5 secs. This is quicker than I have even been able to get GPS locks.

I never let the customizations run with the stock ROM
