Re: Diamond on MS Exchange

It will take 5 minutes to set-up and sync.

You will need to know ther server address and name, your account name and password (just like when you log onto your work PC).

It is all seemeless.

After you sync... here is what you need to do.

1) Your phone will sync all file folders in your email, but you will need to click/mark which ones to sync. I personally do all of them so I have 100% the files that I have on my work PC. I actually only sync the last months worth of emails... but you can choose.

2) Set-up the calandar (I sync the last two weeks and all future events).

3) Tasks - I sync all and only show the "active" ones on my PDA.

4) The notes on your PC will NOT sync with your PDA. I am not sure why this is so, my MS-Exchange does not sync the "notes" section of Outlook.

6) Contacts is 100%.

I love it... but if your like me and you want instant "push" of al in/out emails.. then set it upto do so... but it will use up your battery quickly!!!

When an email comes in to me... my PDA phone "beeps" 15 seconds before my desktop PC gets it... cool and fast!!!!

Enjoy... will make working away from the office a lot easier.

p.s. - set-up the "signature" section on your PDA so it looks just like your work PC... then when you send or reply to an email.... no one will kow if your at work or somewhere else... it all looks the same!!!!
