Re: Diamond on MS Exchange

First of all...Please give us time to read and answer questions before reposting....
Most of us have other things going on besides answering questions....

With that said, here is my experience with exchange, and yes, I run it on my Diamond, and I have everything sync'ed with my exchange.

How does exchange contacts interact with personal contacts??
- Will it wipe them out?
It will not wipe them out, it will merge them into your current address book within your exchange account.
- Will it merge them with personal contacts?
See Above
- Will it create a personal/work group?
No...Everything will be one address group.

How does Calender work on the phone?
-Will it erase my personal calendar?
It will merge your personal calendar with your work calendar.
-Will it create a second calendar or merge with my personal?
See above

If I delete an email on my mobile, does it delete off the exchange and outlook at work? or is it like syncing your pop email?
- Once you delete an email from the device, it is deleted out of outlook. Everything is real-time sync'ed, email, calendar, contact, and tasks. Delete it out of one, it's gone out of all. This is NOT like pop, the is PUSH, big difference.

I tried to search on this but was unable to find any info. Also want to be sure that my personal stuff will not be pushed up to our corporate directory.
Your personal information will not be pushed into your corporate directory, just be warned, if your company performs backup's or audit's of your exchange server (which they probably do), your "personal" information and contact information is now public to them.

Thanks in advance. Also screenshots would be awesome so I have an idea what I'm getting into.
And screenshots of what? pOutlook is pretty self explanatory when setting it up. Servername, username, password, domain, etc.....If you need help post back here and I will see if I can help...
Just please, give me more than and hour and a half to respond before asking for more help.
