" is one of those things that isn't really needed. It's basically someone's way of saying either a) "you’re lazy" or b) "you must be a newbie". Typically I research my ass off on these questions. There were 12 pages returned if I searched for "Opera†and you get no hits when you look for "Opera" + "shortcuts". The thread you posted appears on Page 7 of those 12. So let me ask a question........If I already have Opera set and working as my default browser for embedded links (Newsbreak goes straight to Opera), why, while having to skim through 12 pages of search results would I open a thread entitled "Making Opera Mobile Browser Default"? That's not what I needed. I needed a way to create shortcuts for Opera that act the same way the URL files do for PIE. While the suggestion in the forum might have accomplished that, the fact is it doesn’t. More importantly though as it relates to your post, the title of the thread gave no clue to me while I’m searching. Next time, know for certain if the question is being asked out of laziness or simply because the individual has really tried but not been able to solve the issue.
If someone asks a question that we can help them with, let’s give them a hand, instead of being condescending.
