I have something like OMJ's old rom with radio 3.42.50. and the GPS was working with the fix outlined in first part of this tutorial:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...VerizonAGPSFix aka i dont have MR1/Valhalla Legends GPSServer.
How do I get my phone working again with GPS...
Can we update first post of this thread with info on what to do if you are in both situations?
This is my first post here mainly because I just don't know what I'm doing
yet!

I have trouble getting useful results when using thread search, so I really
don't want to post information that seems redundent.

That said, I am using OMJ.3.09.Manilla.v2 with Windows 6.1, radio 3.42.50,
and I did the QPST radio changes which made the GPS work correctly.

When the GPS quit working and when I had trouble with the camera
not functioning correctly, I tried warm and cold or soft and hard resets.

It was the hard reset that made the camera work, so I started on the
GPS next.

After every reset, I always go into Start\Settings\Connections and
select the Connections icon. I select the Manage Existing Connections
link and delete the Data Network #777 setting. I'm not sure, but I think
this disables the aGPS operations. I just know that my phone uses this
setting for network operations that Verizon charges me whenever the
phone applications access it.

I don't know why the registry information for the IP Address ServerIP = 66.174.95.132
or the ServerPort = 8888 would be used if the network phone connection is
disabled, as I stated above, however when entered as shown, I am able
to connect to the internal GPS and use the FreeCaddie golf program.

I don't know if this helps and I'm still learning how all these modifications
work, but I'm very glad to be able to connect to a forum like this and
find so many helpful and creative people willing to share.

Thanks to all!
