Not sure why everyone doesn't just do this. Its a tiny bit more work at first, changing 2 things instead of 1, but it saves you from ever having to worry about it in the future. .
I didn't do this originally as the Verizon PRI would have always had a locked GPS at the time unless I'm mistaken??

I manually updated the PRL to 51190 & that worked perfectly so I never changed it (I know there are a couple newer ones available). 51190 got rid of the roaming triangle, but of course a *228 option 2 update would cause it to come back as the VZ PRL was not compatible with the Sprint PRI 1.47.003 which is what is in my phone now.

I never really worried about roaming too much as VZ doesn't charge for roaming on a nationwide data/voice plan. At this point, I'm kinda paranoid about making ANY CHANGES that might affect my VZ activation. My phone running Mighty 4.16 works absolutely perfect at this point (by far the best phone I've ever owned) & I would be seriously p!ssed if I made a change & it messed up my VZ activation & I couldn't get it activated again.
