Re: Bluetooth sync for HTC Diamond

Hi Slam... so you have paired. So first off, on pc open bluetooth settings (if not already open) Highlight the phone device , and click the com port tab add new incoming port, it creats a virtual serial port over bluetooth. Now open WindowsMobileDeviceCenter. Click on Mobile Device Settings, then on Connection Settings. Check all the boxes and be sure to select the com port # you just created in the dropdown. Also be sure Bluetooth is turned on. (see screenshot)

On your phone go to start/programs/active sync... when the window opens got to menu/connect via bluetooth.. you should be good to go.

I don't have to create a com port on my laptop with vista 64 and built in bluetooth but I do on my desktop vista 32 and bluetooth dongle...
