Calku made another fix for the no ring issue. It seems to be more than just a registry change since the .cab is larger. The last fix of 2 registry changes didn't solve it, as I still got the no-ring bug awhile after applying them. He released his next kitchen (4.6), so he must be pretty confident that this fix works.
