it wont work... u cant setup adhoc networks on pre xp.. if you look in your settings and connection manager, youll see the "show this as adhoc" is greyed out... you need to be able to check that box to get wmwifi to work... and it wont happen.. i tried for 2 hrs to use my TP on my friends old laptop, and thats the 1 thing i couldnt get past was the one little check box...

ics,bluetooth, wmodem,pdastatus i cant speak for..i dont use em, never have

also your link, is for a TOUCH, not a Touch Pro, though i doubt that makes a diff... id get rid of those, you shouldnt need them for anything on your PRO, especially to tether.. id get rid of em sine you say thats whats running on blocking you from usage
