I have fixed the backlight issue, I went into the settings and disabled the "Turn backlight off after 30 seconds when on battery" option, hit ok, came back in and re-enabled it and it works fine now. So the only issues are the short battery life (not a big deal as I was planning on upgrading to a extended one anyway) and the dead digitizer (which from what I have read seems to be a "wear item" on this phone). I have ordered a digitizer (the 6.99 hong kong ebay special, always makes me wonder if they are making any money after the ebay fees and shipping costs) and a extended battery (with cover). Once everything is working I plan on getting a 4gb miniSD card (not SDHC) as discussed
here.
How much difference is there between the copy of WM5.0 on my phone and WM6.1? Is it worth the hassel of upgrading? I was looking at the chart from MS listing the differences and didnt see all that much better/different in 6.0.
