Hello,
Many thanks to all on this forum. I did a kitchen build of 6.1 to breath new life into my 6700.
Everything works pretty well except that I cannot connect to email.

The internet connection is fine, opera, ie etc work (the top message says Sprint Vision (dial up) - I am not sure if that means EVDO or not - it seems as fast as it did before with WM5) . If I switch to my WiFi the email works fine so the email specific settings are fine. If I disconnect from WiFi and let it go to sprint then hit send and receive, it just says connecting and times out.

The carrier is sprint. I have set the connection settings and tried various options there.

My email is a generic IMAP server on my domain.

I have made forray's into ##786# etc but it appears to be set as suggested in most places here.

I am tearing what is left of my hair out a bit as I have spent a lot longer than I had given that I should be trying to keep a small biz alive in this economy. ANY thoughts are appreciated. I have done a ton of searches here but not seen anyone who just had email connectivity issues.
