1. What are the major known issues with the mogul?
2. Will the desktop/wall charger from the 6700 work with the mogul?
3. Will the extended battery from the 6700 work with the mogul?
4. Will the mogul fit in the aluminum case that the 6700 uses?
5. Last but most important, is it worth going from the 6700 to the mogul?

Oops. One last thing. Will the buildos and kitchen I downloaded from my 6700 work with the mogul.
Major Issues
  • white spots develop on the screen after awhile (I've had mine for about a month and it has already started to develop some spots, but the ones on my screen are only visible during the first loading screen - same with my girlfriends.)
  • hardware keyboard issue are common from what I've read. Mine has not developed any problems, but my girlfriends has.
I have been using my 6700 wall charger with no problems. If the desktop charger you're talking about is the cradle then no. The USB cables work fine.

The extended battery will not work.

Not sure what aluminum case you're talking about, but i'm going to assume the answer to this question is no.

The RUU you built for you 6700 shouldn't work. But, you can start a new project with all of the same selections and rebuild it for the Mogul. I did this just a couple days ago. Flashing the mogul takes a few extra steps the first time you do it, but there is a great walkthrough here on the forum that will help you out.

As for going from the 6700 to the 6800, I agree with weedahoe and say go for it.
