His phone isn't bricked as long as you can reach bootloader

I have a question, whats the bottom of the screen say while in bootloader when attached to the usb ? Might say "serial" or "usb" both work for me.

I'm thinking you can just run the unlocker .exe and it may find your phone...If not try reverting back to stock ROM, this may also find your phone...Be sure that the phone is the only device plugged into the usb as well.
