I thought this would be simpler...interestingly its not.

THen I searched and searched and searched for an answer....its a week later, gotta put my pride down and ask a simple question.


how do you stop ALL email notifications????


now before you say go to settings--> alarms and notifications... this is where I started. I unchecked all boxes for email notifications....when one arrives, I still get a text message that says the message AND 'NOTIFICATION' stays at the bottom of my screen until I read all emails.

I don't want ANY notification, when I look at my phone, I'll know whether or not I have new emails because the "messaging" area on the Today screen will tell me

I also played around in the registry under HKCU/.../{A660.../

I changes the default key whose value is "notify" to 0, then 'null', then I just left it blank....none worked...

After laughing your head off, somebody tell me the simple step I.m missing.
