Instant Messaging vs SMS?
On the Sprint Touch there are three different ways to text (or so it seems).
1. Email
2. SMS
3. Instant Messaging (requires a program download/install)

Email is pretty straightforward but I'm a little unclear about the pros and cons of IM (instant messaging) vs SMS.

Anybody care to share there insights as to the good/bad of either or each?

I haven't downloaded the program yet so I don't know what IM is all about.
