Re: Problems with esn for local carrier

The carrier will not alter the ESN, its specific to the phone, its serial number, altering it is illegal (at least here). But, you can alter it, first you need it's SPC, try 000000 being a verizon phone at one point. It won't do much good on the phone itself, you can't change it that way, it has to be done through a computer. Sure it was the esn, and not the SID MSID etc settings? Either way, the first step is the SPC/MSL, try 000000 and let us know what happens. I know the steps to change a phone's ESN, if it comes to this PM or email me, as I'm not certain if this is legal where you are or not, I'd rather keep it off the forums.
