you can use Microsoft Live Search or Google Maps
If you have an external bluetooth GPS device, then you can pair them and use Tomtom
I have all 3 on my phone and they all work great. But each one has their advantages, MS live is cool for the speech search. Google maps, works as a stand alone GPS and with a BT gps but lacks the directional speech. Tomtom, well theres a fine little software, but it takes up a lot of the phone battery.
