PDAJ has a post about this here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49837

It says to leave the connection off in WMDC until after you flash. I dunno vista, but I think if you right click on the file to run the flasher, you can select run as administrator under properties. PDAJ says not to, though.
