Re: 6700 as a tether modem

I have tried PdaNet for a week, and I am having some problems that I'm hoping I can find a solution for.

I am getting disconnected from the Internet frequently. After a minute or so, webpages with a lot of data like Myspace or YouTube for example stop loading (usually about halfway through). Then no data is being transmitted or received at all. I have to disconnect/reconnect PdaNet to get the connection working again. Sometimes I have to reset my phone because PdaNet will not work at all unless I do. I have noticed that the same thing happens with AIM uploads/downloads, Google Maps, as well as just about every other download I've tried. About one minute in they stop, and then I'm not recieving or sending any data until I manually disconnect and reconnect. I find myself having to disconnect and reconnect 20 times each day.

I can get away with leaving my IM client running on my computer, and browsing simple webpages, but that's it. No Google Maps, no Windows Updates, no downloads or uploads of any kind unless they're really small.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a solution?

Thanks,
John
