Forums are all about discussing problems, so no surprise there.
There are problems with some 800w's that require an exchange, but I think the list of design issues that cannot be fixed with a known registry change or existing third party software is short:
(1) Battery life: you can optimize power usage, but at some point you just have to deal with the small battery by getting another one, using a higher capacity third party model, getting one or more extra chargers, etc.
(2) Not true stand-alone GPS: you need to be on the Sprint network to get your initial satellite fix.
(3) Lack of adapters for the (proprietary?) micro-USB connector, such as 3.5mm headphone adapters.
(4) Square, high dpi resolution screen incompatible with some software. Now that Samsung is using a 320x320 screen for the Epix/Saga, I suspect developers will view this resolution as more mainstream. (There might be a software workaround for this that shadowboxes older applications, but I haven't seen any.)
