Thanks Inch but SSmapa is not my problem, I already use it to replace the default calendar with thumbcal. I was interested in going back to the original calendar rather than thumbcal as it seems to load faster when you hit the calendar button. The only thing keeping me away is the deafult calendar won't start in month view and I hate all the other views.

I upgraded to thumbcal 1.2.5 (from 1.1.2) and it seems faster plus it has a load screen now, so you don't see tf3d for 2 seconds...there is another screen that comes up so you know it is working
