I have bought all mine & my families phones off ebay and never have had a problem...if it has a clean esn # you are ok.....if you bought a sprint htc product brand new you should be covered at least by HTC...and as long as it is activated to your cell number I think you could probably get by on sprint with any kind of recall......you can always use some gentle persuasion
[take my business somewhere else sort of persuasion]
.....but in the end it is up to you plus I believe you can add insurance to the phone but I might be wrong
