Definitely gremlins...your phone may have charged via the wall outlet then discharged itself. There is a thread on this here. Try charging the phone via the wall outlet for about 30 minutes to see if you get any charge. If you do then the wall outlet gremlins are getting you. I quit charging via wall outlet and only charge via usb. S2U battery icon is cool way to see that your usb charge is working.
