I have a SERO plan too, if they upgrade me, I can keep my plan, right? Any advice? I don't want to lose my SERO plan.

Thanks
You have water damage so you need to go to www.phoneclaim.com or call Asurion @ 1-800-584-3666 .. They will charge you $50 for replacing your Touch and they will send you a replacement Touch .. They have refurbs so you are not going to get a Brand New Touch. Even though Sprint doesnt have it on their site they still have them to order through Asurion. They still older phones in stock also. If you have Sero you have Sero they will not make yo change plans. PERIOD haha

You dont have to be demanding to keep your plan. If you change your phone whether through upgrading with a 2 year contract, insurance replacement, or just doing an ESN swap then you dont have to change your plan at all. Also the OP says that he has TEP .. Sprint's 3rd party insurance company is prolly one of the FEW companies that lets you get your phone replaced if it has water damage.

I don't know if the prices have changes as I have a grandfathered Sero plan with the TEP for $5 but I remember discussing this on another forum. I believe if you want the Diamond or Pro then you will have to buy the phone. Try Account Services they may get a deal for you. I went from a Treo 755p to the touch and I didn't have to change anything on my plan. I hope this helps a little......
You're wrong my friend, TEP is $7 per month which is Total Equipment Protection which covers Lost, Stolen, and Damaged Beyond Repaired phones.

The other option is ESRP which is $4 per month which is Equipment Service and Repair Program which covers Coverage against mechanical or electrical problems, routine maintenance or failure from normal use.

Awesome post but they will give the OP a refurbed Touch

No, they will not let you pay for the difference for that "upgrade" which you speak about.

If you want to upgrade the legit way then go into a corporate store, radio shack, best buy and sign a 2 year contract and buy the phone for the discounted pricing.
