I know! But many respectable raters online gave it very good to excellent sound quality. Even on another forum for 6700 someone told me the 260 is a good headset. What am I missing? LOL

Did u have the 590A's or E's. Because of you look at this review:

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones-h...tag=prod.txt.1

verus this one:

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones-h...tag=prod.txt.1
straight from the review :

"The bottom line: The Plantronics Pulsar 260's excellent sound quality and user-friendly controls make it a great stereo Bluetooth headset."

Here's another review I read on the 260:
http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/n/7903.html

and another
http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/review4441.html

Two of the three say very good sound quality. I went with the 260's instead of the 590's because of price and because I wans something I can workout with.

I thought bluetooth is supposed to be like streaming. YOu can stream data over bt connection, and, although u're not going to maximize effieciency you can still get good rates. I just don't get how my 320 Kpbs music sounds like something from a 1920's era radio.
