I am totally new here so I hope I am putting this post in the right place.

I have a new HTC Pro from Sprint. To retrieve my voicemails from work, I need to be able to press the "*" key on my phone twice, quickly. FOr some reason, I can't get the phone to allow me to generate a "*" key tone in rapid succession while in a phone call when using the touch screen.

I did figure out that if I slide out my keyboard during the call, I can press the * key above the 8 twice to generate the needed tones in rapid succession.

Does anyone have a clue about why this small but annoying issues exists and how I might fix it?
