Well for starters you should probably at least make a copy of your registry if you were going to do it. Usually the main carrier specific thing that we don't modify is the radio flash. So in theory it should work, but it would be best if you had a reference phone or a rom dump to help get files for any issues that might arise.
I don't know anything about the specifics of a cricket flash since i use sprint, but post your phone settings such as ROM version and Radio version PRL etc.
