Big D5, if you leave the BT on 100% of the time, then all you have to do is turn on the headset you want to use, which is simple enough (assuming the device has been previously paired).

However, as I understand the question, I think he is turning off BT when he isn't using it so as to conserve battery life. I have not found anything that is a one button on/off switch of BT. I don't think a separate application would be any benefit because the keystrokes to select a program would be as many (or more) strokes as clicking the BT icon, clicking the Mode tab, checking the "Turn on BT" box, clicking OK button (total 4 key strokes).

I know I get some really strange behavior if I forget to turn of the BT on the phone before I turn on Insignia MP3 player, and vice versa.
