- Attempted the modification today, the only issue is there is not enough to play with, the casing can fit but all corners are open, now could you mold something in the corners yes, would it be worth in a sense? Not sure that’s all user opinion. But I did bring up to HTC if it would be possible to release a Diamond backing for the Pro and Diamond as a accessory for the Rounded models, HTC was found of the Idea and will normally release this information or design to third party vendors.

You said that the only thing that needs to change are the corners... can you confirm that the cover does fit around the sides like the stock cover? Sounds weird, but is it too tight or loose around the sides, and do the sides match up with the device [minus the corners, of course!] And what about the camera/flash holes - do they match up perfectly?

I know you aren't supposed to, but do you think if you talk to someone and they supervise you taking a picture of the GSM backing on the TP they will let you post it?

The curves are what the issues are good back view of the pic though, Allows me to explain better, If you view that a image and compare it to the other image HTC provides on the website the curves are off by mm's which is the pain but HTC sent a email requesting more information on the accessory IDEA so I wonder what they may do.

Explained to HTC and sprint, that it could be a likely be profitable, It would count as a accessory for the phone and allow customization to the phone - Something sprint lacks currently and needs, Explained also if a battery cover was lost instead of replacing it at cost to sprint a customer could purchase that cover if they perfer ( another profit ). Then to my amazement sprint agreed with no questions asked except would it be possible to do different colors and could the factory cover be available, then there was also the question of covers, I then brought up that the phone design is ment to be shown off but the back portion could be the key for design, Also explained this would be a useful way to promot the extended battery, sprint again agreed no questions asked, and for once there was a pause from HTC on the conference call ( can you say heaven? ). So its looking again so far but has not be comfirmed or put into design.
