But for the time being, this radio is better than .5 even though its technically a downgrade. Like I said I got 2 phone calls yesterday where I have never been able to get them before no matter what the weather was.

Hey, I appreciate the follow-up. I recall that I had read a post or two where the .30 radio was being given a nod over the .50 radio, but never gave it a second thought ... most of the replies were going striclty on number of bars, but you confirmed higher dbm readings via debug, which got my attention!
