Re: New Bell ROM 3.09.666.1 released 8/23

Help, trying to use Terracrosser for non-modem navigation without turning off the Radio each time.

-HTC Touch/Vogue on Bell with stock 3.09.666.1 ROM
-Set A-GPS to "Disabled" with Advanced Configuration Tool 3.2.0.0

-Start>Settings>Connections>Connections Icon> Deleting CDMA or settings doesn't work, it keeps coming back, like that guy with the hockey mask in Halloween.

How to I permanently turn Off my modem (company won't pay for a data plan). I tried registry and settings changes but it always gets re-enabled. Setting get re-enabled immediatly upon GPS access occurs.

Same thing happens when I run the HTC GPS test tool or the Chartcross GPS test tool so it looks like these programs dial the network by default or Bell or HTC has some background program set to modem-out on GPS startup.

Thanks
