Particular versions of the HTC Home plugin don't work with WinMo 6.1. If you download the HTC Home Customizer (
www.pocketemu.com), and download the Plugin from that program (uninstall any HTC Home Plug you have, download and install HHC, and it will download HTC Home Plug for you automatically)
As for the first post, the home screen you were likely seeing was for Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. As a pocket PC with a touch screen, we use Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
