Okay, I was given a Verizon HTC Touch by a friend that switched to AT&T. I did my research, found the stock Alltel ROM and unlocker. Upgraded the Rom and called Alltel tech support to manually program and activate the phone. It works but it says I am roaming all the time, even in my home area. Also my email won't work and when I try to update roaming (*22
it says, "Welcome to the Verizon network" instead of "Alltel" which hasn't changed yet.
Being that I am a noob at this I am pleased I have made it this far. Can anyone tell me what I have missed or overlooked?
