I was thinking about recasing my Treo 800w into a Pro's housing. (Once the housings for the Treo Pro becomes available.) I know the touchscreen's different too, so that would have to be replaced. The dimensions are:
Length: 4.49", Width: 2.36", Depth: 0.53", Weight: 4.69 oz. ---------Treo Pro
Length: 4.41", Width: 2.28", Depth: 0.73", Weight: 5.0 oz -----------Treo 800w

They seem very similar except for thickness. I wonder what is causing our 800w to be so much thicker? They both have identical specs as far as I can see. Both are 320x320, win mo 6.1 pro, 256 mb on-board storage, 128 mb program memory, etc.. So, I think they are basically the same internally. Again, I don't know why our 800w's are thicker but that could be a problem. Feedback on this?
