safe is a relative term around here...

here is where you can obtain the .40 bootloader. this bootloader is deemed dangerous because it doesnt prevent you from overwriting it w/ say the stock bootloader (or something that could really your phone up) so basically if you flash .40 then flash the stock GPS rom, you should be at factory (minus any radio tweeks you may have done, but that's another story)
