I prefer using the smart dialer though. I have been looking at it very closely lately. It does appear to not alway reflect the person I want to dial even though they are highlighted.
I can tell for sure because the area codes differ and it will say New York while a Kansas number is highlighted.
I have just been going up and down once the person I want to dial is showing and that seems to help as someone mentioned above.
