I have had this happen on a few occasions, but a soft reset always resolves it. I have to assume that it has something to do with something that I have installed, and I am leaning toward S2U2, as it has never happened when I have S2U2 disabled.
Though there is a newer version of S2U2 out that I am not running yet, so that is my fault for being lazy...
