Re: Need some help with icons

Well, thanks to lisat96 who has provided omarnova's solution, let's move on to another icon spruce-up job, namely Opera. I see TMZ is using the leak'd Diamond Opera, like most of us with Touch Vogue. Apparently our set up is close enough to Diamond for that version to work for us better than the Official Beta release from Opera.com, but the icon isn't as nice. My opinion is due to the white pixels on right side edges of the "O" looking sort of wrong on dark background, not as nice as the cool cherry red glow of the shadowless official beta-1 icon.

Bottom right is messed-up Diamond Opera icon, above it is Official Beta 1 icon. If you want to use the beta1 icon for the leak'd Diamond version, all you need is to create a shortcut LNK file pointing to the beta1 icon, and of course, you need the icon itself too. I've discovered the icon is contained within OperaL.exe, but God only knows what'd happen if you over-write it. So I suggest creating a Shortcuts folder within My Documents, and put both the EXE and LNK in there. In this case, the LNK can simply be:

59#"\Windows\OperaL.exe"?\My Documents\Shortcuts\OperaL-b1.exe,-0

And here's the beta1 icon file...
