I usually just leave my (non-PPC) phones charging whenever I'm home. I've got my charger sitting on my desk, and whenever I get home I plug it in, where it stays plugged in until I'm ready to leave the following morning. That means it's probably plugged in for 17 consecutive hours assuming I'm out of the house for 8 hours. I haven't ever had a PPC phone before, but I haven't noticed these practises damaging my regular phones' battery. Based on what I've seen around the net, that isn't a good idea?...
What about using the Touch while it's plugged in (like if I'm sitting at my desk trying out new applications or something)? Is that OK?
What's the best charge point to plug it in? 30% battery power, 10%, etc?
Are there any exceptions to anything above for the first few charges?

Well.. Since when you plug your phone into the computer it starts charging i doubt it would be that harmful to use it while its charging.. i usually text a couple times while mine is charging.. otherwise I charge while its off..
the first time you charge(for about 12 hours.. you do not have to but it sometimes is a good idea).. it should honestly matter but what I would do is let the phone die completely then charge it.. do that atleast 2 times then charge normally
My battery gets real hot to just warn you idk if anyone elses does this... i am taking it in... but yeah.. also just dont always let it die.. my batter is at 20% right now.. im gonna shut it off and charge it up
