I think you ought to pull the link until you've stabalized your distro more or you will sour many peoples first experience with Android. I have the latest build from a gentleman at Massey University and it runs from my 8GB SDHC card quite nicely.

I'm then left at a [bash?] shell. Using ls, I can see that /sdcard/system and /sdcard/system.gz exist.
