does the charger you received actually look like the one in the picture? or is it just a generic looking black case? if so its prolly an after marker charger.. Also.. it is summer.. and maybe it just feels that way because the sun is hitting it and it is almost all black? may wanna try running your ac and keeping it hidden from the sun and see if its any diffrent..
