i might be wrong as i have never used pdanet but i believe it "camoflouges" the phones internet connection. it fools sprint into thinking the phone is using its regular internet and not "tethered" to a computer instead of realizing the truth. I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong lol. Personally i would rather use a reg hack and internet sharing on the device since its free.
