well the problem is that you can brick your device when attempting this downgrading procedure. and even if someone posted step by step instructions, there would prolly be bricks resulting from those instructions. It is recommended that you always have insurance, esp for WinMO devices, and that if your carrier doesn't offer a Stock GPS ROM then once you go GPS, dont go back to Non-GPS. That being said, i will offer the following advise:

1) Return to Stock is possible, but not recommended unless you are returning for warranty/exchange. The Radio will appear to have been downgraded, but is actually located in a different location in the Memory, so when the 1.X Radio is wrote it does not fully overwrite the 3.X Radio, which can cause some issues in the future.

2) Search and Read some more, this topic has been covered
