That is the real world testing I want to see.
Someone should have a similar app that takes a long time to load and have some sort of results. Ultimately I don't think I'll be all that concerned with speed unless it causes problems with playing video, or audio over BT Stereo headset. However, it would be great info to have when making a purchase or giving suggestions.
Perhaps emails could be sent to the manufacturers for them to publicly state their stats that their memory is the fastest. May the best man. win.

I have TomTom 6 stored on my Sandisk 1GB miniSD and it takes about 6 seconds for me to see the legal notice where you have to click "I agree"
