Anyone know why my my 6700 only allows me to connect at 230.4Kbps no matter what? Doesn't matter if I'm in a 1X area or EVDO area. Is there a setting I'm missing to make it so I get EVDO speeds while teathering in an EVDO area? I'm using Colonel's Beta 3 3.3 ROM. And I know its not actually faster in an EVDO area, both are just as slow when I VPN into work (the whole reason I want to teather). I also use the Wireless Modem app in the above ROM.
