Random, but when I was VZW when the phone phone kept on having issues the rep at the store offered to switch me to another model. At Sprint the store could careless once you buy your phone. They either tell you a buy another phone or go to the repair center. Which I did to the Mogul when my 700wx was having issues. Paid $549. The repair center does not fix you phone, but just replace it. They then tell me to call Sprint CS myself. Sprint is great for everything else this is my first issue with them real issue not a small bill issue, etc. SPRINT SUCKS

wow idk how that works... clearly you had a ****ty rep... i have switched from the 6700 to the 700wx to the mogul to the 8830 to the 8330 all just by complaining on the phone usually get to retentions and they will take care of you... after saying all that i currently have the curve and a mogul...
mogul FTW no questions asked custom rom and off i went best thing since sliced bread... if i didnt need/want bbm i would get rid of this curve all together
for your needs a curve will be perfect for you... altho i dont love the browser the phone is very stable and very reliable unlike my 8830WE which i reset 15 times a day the curve has treated me pretty well.
