you can find gpsviewer on the site somewhere. search is your friend.

the standby problem is still an issue... though it is fixed by not letting your phone go into standby when your using gps. make sure you shut down any running gps programs before it goes into standby...

When i'm using GPS 9/10 its on a car charger, gps sucks your battery anyway, the only other time is to find something quick with live search, just make sure to shut it off before the phone goes into standby.
