As a aspiring new kitchen user and one who is not all that knowledgeable when it comes to terms, I would like to make the suggestion that while this is being compiled, please spell out as best you can the definitions of an action. I make this suggestion for I believe that the more complete the instructions / FAQs are, the less questions that will be asked from people like me! For example, when an instruction reads as follows:
1. Extract X.file
Most people who are eager to build wonder 2 things:
1. How do I extract this and what (most users are looking for free!) programs do I use?
2. What is X?
In my own knowledge building (which has been at a nice pace, thanks to everyone in these forums!), it took me some time to figure out just what a nk.nbf file was and how to extract the radio, the extended rom, and the OS from an official AKU update.
I know that everyone here is doing this out of the goodness of their hearts and that time is a very valuable and scarce commodity some days. I figured that I would give you a little insight in what a more noob user is thinking.
That being said, if you all would like me to help in 'noobifying' the instructions & FAQs for and in the wiki, I think that this is something that could greatly help the user community out!
