Please include the link to the original xda thread. My response belongs over there, but I couldn't find the thread.

This is both good and bad...good in case DCD made certain modifications, bad in that it will cause compatibility issues w/ other OEM packs. You may want to do some work here.

2. I have noticed that some apps wont function without the .net package installed. I attempted to use just the one that DCD provided but I was getting certificate errors. So you NEED to select the package supplied by ppckitchen if you want to run software that requires .net

Case in point.

3. Select your carrier both from the drop down menu and from the selections list. When you finally start cooking the kitchen you will be prompted to overwrite some of the carrier files with DCD's file. Please click "Yes" to ensure you get everything needed for your carrier package.

I haven't looked at your config.txt or DCD's kitchen, but that sounds like something is wrong in one or the other. When done properly there shouldn't be any requests for overwriting carrier files, and certainly not in the direction stated.

4. DCD supports more carriers than the ppcgeeks kitchen does. You can attempt to cook for another carrier other than ones supported by ppcgeeks but beware you will need to select a carrier from the kitchen drop down aswell. I'm not sure how this will turn out for you if you select 2 different carriers. My suggestion would be to only work with the 4 supported by ppcgeeks at this time. I will investigate this further but not for a few days.

You can fix this by modifying the option.xml. If you mismatch the dropdown to the picklist, you'll get both sets of customizations - with one (the later alphabetically) overwriting the other.

5. Depending on what selections you choose you may be prompted to overwrite certian files. Please read the prompt carefully and use common sense when choosing yes or no.
6. I have added some images to the splash folder in ppcgeeks kitchen. Please copy the images I post and paste them into the splash folder to avoid loading errors. The base selections call for the 2 images I included. One is named htc+icon.png - put it in the 240x320 folder. The other is named black6.1welcome.96.png - put it in the 320x320 folder.

Mind if we add your splashes to the library?
